(e)ncounter(ing) is a performative reading that weaves disorientating ‘stories’ that speculate upon systemic oppressive structures, nature, the human body and regeneration.
The listener will be encouraged to explore an embodied listening, and through touching, to be ‘in touch’: to let oneself go like in a lullaby before falling asleep…
~
You can stand,
You can sit,
You can lay…
You can also move from time to time if you prefer.
Now that you seem a bit more comfortable I would like you follow your desires and will:
You can close your eyes and listen. You can also touch or cuddle the pieces around you if that brings you joy and release.
Any option is possible.
You can watch the videos and let yourself go.
Either way let your mind wander through whatever image or spaces the following words will bring you. Don’t try too hard to rationalise what you hear.
Just listen, like a lullaby before falling asleep.
