The EXILE of the plasticised ethos is a time-based performative installation. As if based on a story-board, frame after frame, an evolution/destruction/enhancement happens. The multimedia installations part of this series reflect a humorist critic on the contagious disease that capitalism and consumerism have become.
The attractive, ‘face-less’, shiny and harmless, builds the frame, creating a dialogue in a poetic playground of capitalism.
This installation series in-situ, emphasises specific elements of architecture and style of the surroundings (a former Bank headquarters), while, a performer activates and reshapes the installation twisting the relation between playfulness, corporate space and consumerism. The performer and elements of the installation activated the audience to watch, participate and change with him the initial setting of each space.
